Butler is a lock to opt out of his contract this summer. It will be interesting to see if the 76ers are willing to offer Butler the full max of 5 years and $190 million. The most another team can offer Butler is 4 years and $140 million. Butler's agent, Bernie Lee of Lee Basketball Services, will be fighting hard to get his client the max from Philadelphia. The 76ers can create up to $21.2 million in cap space and still retain Butler, but doing some would mean renouncing JJ Redick.
