2022 Free Agents - Alfonzo McKinnie

Summary
Despite having some early-career success with the Warriors in '18-'19, McKinnie has been unable to replicate that in recent years, and has bounced around.

McKinnie's best skill is his offensive rebounding, but even that has declined over the years, with his offensive rebound rate consistently being near the top of the league for his position, according to Cleaning the Glass.

McKinnie is not a threat from outside, and generally hasn't developed enough of an offensive game in any area to be a real threat. That makes him tough to play, especially for a good team in the playoffs, where those weaknesses can get exposed even further.

Cap Considerations
McKinnie was waived by the Bulls during the '21-'22 season to create a roster spot for Tristan Thompson. Teams will have multiple ways to sign McKinnie as even teams without cap space could possibly use any of the Non-Taxpayer MLE, Taxpayer MLE, or the Room MLE or Bi-Annual Exception to sign him. It's also likely that McKinnie only gets minimum offers, and may not even get fully-guaranteed offers.

Potential Teams: Heat, Hornets, Clippers, Jazz, Bucks

Predicted Contract: 1-year, $2.1 million (non-guaranteed) with the Heat
