Summary
In the '19-'20 season, Silva played in 34 games for the Heat as a rim-running bit. He finished pretty effectively inside, and he had a really high offensive rebounding rate. However, at 6'9", Silva is a little undersized for a center, and thus he's not much of a rim protector. Combine that with his overall lack of skill on offense, and Silva is a fringe NBA player at best.
Despite showing some promise in Miami, Silva fell completely out of the rotation this season, and was eventually waived by the Kings after being included in the Nemanja Bjelica trade. Silva could get some flyers as an energy big, but I would be surprised if he got a fully-guaranteed contract this summer.
Cap Considerations
Silva was waived by the Kings this season, and has yet to be signed by an NBA team. Teams will have multiple ways to sign Silva as even teams without cap space could possibly use any of the Non-Taxpayer MLE, Taxpayer MLE, or possibly even the Room MLE or Bi-Annual Exception to sign him. However, I don't expect any offers for Silva to be above the minimum.
Potential Teams: Bucks, Rockets, Wizards, Cavaliers, Hornets
Predicted Contract: 1-year, $1.7 million (non-guaranteed) with the Bucks
