Patterson hasn't lived up to expectations in Oklahoma City, who signed him in 2017 after he was one of the best sixth men in the NBA in Toronto. It's hard to imagine any team offering much more than the minimum for the 30-year old if he becomes a free agent this summer. Unless Patterson's agent, Sam Goldfeder of Excel Sports Management, believes he can really improve Patterson's value by finding him another team, Patterson should opt in to the final year of his contract.
