Summary
The Lakers could technically have a decent amount of cap room, but only if Lebron opts out and leaves in free agency.

If Lebron opts in or re-signs at a similar dollar amount, the Lakers could have the full $14.1 million Non-Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception and the $5.1 million Bi-Annual Exception to add talent, but only if Dorian Finney-Smith opts out and leaves. It will be a tough fit though under the first apron though unless Lebron takes a discount, so the Lakers may only use part of the full MLE, or just have the $5.7 million Taxpayer MLE to add talent.
