2022 Free Agents - Kelan Martin

Summary
Despite having some moments for the Pacers near the end of the '20-'21 season, Martin hasn't shown enough in his first few seasons to really prove he belongs in the NBA. He has some size and athleticism that helps him finish at the rim decently, but needs to hit outside shots at a higher rate to really be a rotation-level wing. He also has a decent floater game.

Martin is already 26, so there's not a ton of upside, but there is potential for a decent rotational player.

Cap Considerations
Martin was waived by the Pacers during the '21-'22 season, and did not finish the season on an NBA roster.

Teams will have multiple ways to sign Martin as even teams without cap space could possibly use any of the Non-Taxpayer MLE, Taxpayer MLE, or the Room MLE or Bi-Annual Exception to sign him. It's also likely that Martin only gets minimum offers, and may not even get fully-guaranteed offers.

Potential Teams: Heat, Pelicans, Suns, Bucks, Magic

Predicted Contract: 1-year, $1.9 (non-guaranteed) million with the Heat
