Summary

Miles had his best years when he was Indiana, culminating in the '16-'17 season, in which he shot 42% from three and turned that into a three-year, $25 million contract in the summer of 2017. After signing with Toronto, Miles was unable to hit shots at the same rate he did in Indiana, and was ice cold in the early parts of the '18-'19 season before being dealt to Memphis as part of the Marc Gasol trade.

Miles missed the majority of this past season after suffering a wrist injury, and didn't sign another contract after being waived by Washington. Miles is unlikely to get any offers above the minimum this offseason, if he remains in the NBA at all.

Cap Considerations

Miles was waived by the Wizards and did not sign another NBA contract. While his time in the NBA might be over, there's a possibility that a team will give him a chance with a minimum contract.

Potential Teams: 76ers, Clippers, Lakers, Rockets, Bucks

Predicted Contract: 1-year, $2.6 million ($1.6 million cap hit) with the Clippers

Actual Contract: N/A

As of the start of the regular season, Miles remains unsigned, and his NBA career may be over.
