Parker surprised everyone last summer by leaving San Antonio and signing a two-year, $10.25 million contract with Charlotte. The second year of that contract is non-guaranteed, so he will become a free agent this summer if the Hornets choose to waive him before that salary becomes guaranteed on July 4th.

If the Hornets re-sign Kemba Walker, they will probably waive Parker to keep their costs down. If Walker leaves, they will still probably waive Parker in order to go younger and rebuild.

Parker's career is sadly nearing its end. While he had brief flashes of quality play in Charlotte, his shooting percentage at the rim was the lowest of his career, which is typical for a point guard of his age and size. Without that finishing ability that made him so good in his prime, Parker does not provide much else on offense, and is probably best as a third point guard at this stage of his career.

Potential Teams: Bucks, Mavericks, Hornets, Pistons

Predicted Contract: Retires

If he returns: 1-year, $2.6 million ($1.6 million cap hit) with the Bucks

*Parker retired this offseason, ending a probable Hall of Fame career
