Temple was able to play a role on this year's deep, competitive, Clippers team after he was traded from Memphis. Temple has some scoring ability that can be valuable on second units that lack scoring, and can defend multiple positions. Temple is a 3 and D player that may not quite excel at either the 3 and D portion of that equation, but does provide enough in each to be a part of a competitive NBA rotation.
Look for a playoff team looking to add along the fringes to sign Temple at a reasonable rate.
Potential Teams: Nets, Lakers, Clippers, 76ers, Rockets
Predicted Contract: 2-year, $15 million (2nd year team option) with the Clippers
*Actual Contract: 2-year, $9.8 million (2nd year team option) with the Nets.

The Nets got Temple at a solid value, and even were able to get a team option on the second year.
