Shumpert surprised me by starting for the Kings and playing as well as he did for a competitive team. After being traded to Houston, Shumpert was inconsistent at best. He only shot 30% from three as a Rocket, and was not a reliable part of the rotation.

Shumpert has always had the moniker of a 3-and-D level wing, despite not being very good at either of those aspects. While he can provide shooting at times, his shooting ability has never been better than average. And while he has length and athleticism, he never turned it into actual defensive ability.

After failing to meaningfully contribute for the Rockets in competitive playoff games, he may have trouble finding offers this summer that are significantly more than the minimum.

Potential Teams: Thunder, Rockets, Wizards, Pistons, Pacers

Predicted Contract: 1-year, $5 million with the Thunder

*Shumpert has yet to sign an NBA contract.
