The Wizards will have plenty of free agents this summer, but Satoransky is their priority. With John Wall looking to miss (at least) the early part of next season, Satoransky will be a key piece of the Wizards' lineup.

Satoransky will be a restricted free agent if the Wizards tender him a $3.9 million Qualifying Offer, which they are all but certain to do. Their goal will be to lock down Satoransky on a team-friendly long-term contract, and they may be able to do so if Satoransky struggles to find a big offer sheet.

If the Wizards are not willing to give Satoransky a significant long-term contract, he may end up taking the Qualifying Offer so he can enter unrestricted free agency in 2020.

Potential Teams: Wizards, Suns, Magic, Kings, Hornets

Predicted Contract: 3-year, $15 million with the Wizards

*Actual Contract: 3-year, $30 million ($5 million guaranteed 3rd year) with the Bulls.

Satoransky did much better in free agency than I expected, which was partially due to the Wizards not using his restricted status to play hard ball. However, the Bulls may have just signed Satoransky to an offer sheet with these details anyway, which the Wizards would apparently not have matched.
