The Pistons are likely to decline the $4.3 million team option on Robinson for next year, as Robinson was not able to meaningfully able to contribute this season.
While Detroit was hoping Robinson would give them some 3-and-D level wing play, Robinson only averaged 12.4 minutes per game, according to Cleaning the Glass. In addition, after shooting over 42% from three in the previous two seasons with the Pacers, Robinson only hit 33% of his threes this season.
Robinson and his agent will be pitching that his shooting will progress more to the mean, and that his years in Indiana were more indicative of his ability.
Potential Teams: Rockets, Pistons, Lakers, Magic, Wizards
Predicted Contract: 1-year, $1.9 million with the Rockets
*Actual Contract: 1-year, $1.9 million with the Warriors.

Robinson was only able to get a minimum contract, but could boost his value if he plays well for this Warriors team that is in desperate need for wing play.
