Lopez is great at boxing out, so he could help a team that struggles to rebound on the defensive end. While his offensive game is limited, he won’t kill you offensively, as long as you have the right personnel around him.

Lopez has even shown some range from three this season, albeit not nearly to the level of his brother. Lopez could be one of the better backup centers in the league for a playoff team, or a low-end starter for a bad team.

Potential Teams: Clippers, Mavericks, Lakers, Warriors, Suns

Predicted Contract: 2-year, 20 million (2nd year non-guaranteed) with the Clippers

*Actual Contract: 2-year, $9.8 million (2nd year player option) with the Bucks.

I thought Lopez could have gotten more than this, but it turned out that this was the going rate for most backup centers this summer.
