In 2015, Monroe signed a three-year max contract, and three years later was settling for the minimum to play in Toronto. Monroe bounced around this season, playing for the Raptors, Celtics, and 76ers.
While he can still provide some scoring off the bench, Monroe's style of play does not fit well in today's NBA. He doesn't stretch the floor, which can clog the paint for his teammates, and he is a liability on the defensive end. Monroe still belongs on an NBA roster, but not for more than a minimum contract.
Potential Teams: 76ers, Lakers, Clippers, Hornets, Hawks
Predicted Contract: 1-year, $2.6 million ($1.6 million cap hit) with the 76ers
*Monroe signed overseas and will play in Europe this season.
