Miller was probably the Pelicans' second best wing this season, behind only E'Twaun Moore. That's probably saying more about the Pelicans than it is about Miller, but Miller has shown enough to prove he deserves to stick around the NBA.

He hits shots at a decent rate, and the numbers defend his playmaking more than the eye test might (Miller was in the 71st percentile for his position this season in assist percentage, per Cleaning the Glass).

At 29 years old, the rebuilding Pelicans may want to look elsewhere, but a competitive team with a lack of wing depth should give Miller a look.

Potential Teams: Pelicans, Rockets, 76ers, Nets, Knicks

Predicted Contract: 2-year, $4 million with the Pelicans

*Actual Contract: 2-year, $14.3 million (2nd year non-guaranteed) with the Pelicans.

Miller certainly got more than I expected, but will likely struggle to do the same next summer. Miller will likely miss the entire season after rupturing his Achilles, making it more likely the Pelicans waive him rather before the 2020-2021 season.
