Lamb was the Hornets' secondary scorer this season. Unfortunately that isn't saying much, as Kemba Walker got very little help as the Hornets failed to make the playoffs for the third straight season.

Lamb has some skills creating for himself off the dribble, and has shown some spotup ability. Lamb shot 53% on corner threes this season, albeit on a small number of attempts, but only 31% on non-corner threes.

If Kemba Walker returns to Charlotte, the Hornets will likely let Lamb walk away, as re-signing him would push them into the luxury tax. The Hornets could try to trade Bismack Biyombo, Marvin Williams, or Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in order to retain Lamb and stay below the tax. Moving Biyombo would cost a first round pick.

Potential Teams: Pelicans, Hornets, Kings, Jazz, Pacers,

Predicted Contract: 2-year, $20 million (2nd year team option) with the Pelicans.

*Actual Contract: 3-year, $31.5 million with the Pacers.

This was about the per-year salary I expected Lamb to get, and thought it was solid value for the Pacers.
