Kleber had a great start to the season, but lost some mintues been when Dirk Nowitzki re-entered the lineup in December. At age 26, Kleber doesn't have a ton of upside, but he's an athletic big that is skilled, plays hard, and can provide solid rotational minutes.

The Mavericks will have the benefit of Kleber's $1.6 million cap hold, which means they can keep his cap hold on the books, use their cap space to sign free agents, and then re-sign Kleber after they have used all their cap space. Additionally, Kleber will be a restricted free agent, allowing the Mavericks to match any offer sheet he signs with another team.

Potential Teams: Mavericks, Spurs, Kings, Pacers, Hawks

Predicted Contract: 2-year, $9 million with the Mavericks

*Actual Contract: 4-year, $34 million (4th year team option) with the Mavericks.

I thought Kleber might get squeezed a bit by being a restricted free agent, but the Mavericks showed them they believe in him by giving him a long-term contract at a pretty solid salary.
