Smith was one of the lucky "spikers" that hit free agency right when the cap spiked in 2016, signing a 3-year, $16 million contract with Washington. After being traded to the Bucks as part of a salary dump for the Wizards, Smith didn't see the court much for the rest of the season.

Smith shot well in 2016-17, with an eFG% of 57.9 and 47% from 3, but it was only on one attempt every two games and his percentages have plummeted since then. Unless Smith can develop a more reliable jumper at this stage of his career, he doesn't bring enough to the table on either end of the floor to be worth more than a minimum contract.

Potential Teams: Grizzlies, Jazz, Pacers

Predicted Contract: 1-year, $2.6 million ($1.6 million cap hit) with the Grizzlies

*Smith has yet to sign an NBA contract.
