Parker did not have the season he hoped he would with the Bulls, as he fell out of the rotation completely and was traded to Washington. Parker has a team option for $20 million next season that the Wizards will certainly decline.
It's hard to picture a team giving Parker a big offer, as young rebuiliding teams with a lot of cap space would still probably rather use that cap space to take on bad money in exchange for assets than take a flyer on Parker.
One team to look out for - Utah. The Jazz don't have a history of signing one-dimensional scoring types, but they loved him coming out of the draft and could convince themselves that they need his offense and could hide his flaws in their great defensive system.
*Update: After trading for Conley - the Jazz would have to waive Derrick Favors to make room for Parker, which I consider unlikely.
Potential Teams: Kings, Jazz, Wizards, Mavericks, Knicks
Predicted Contract: 1-year, $8 million with the Kings
*Actual Contract: 2-year, $13 million (2nd year player option) with the Hawks.

I thought a short-term deal in this range made sense for Parker. I was surprised he got a player option on the second season, but at this low of a salary it makes sense.
