Chicago got good value when they traded Holiday to Memphis, netting two 2nd round picks for a 30-year old upcoming free agent that they were unlikely to re-sign. With Memphis rebuilding this summer, they likely won't be too interested in bringing back Holiday.

Holiday is one of those 3-and-D wings that isn't great at either of those aspects. Holiday has never shot above average from 3, and is not strong enough to contain bigger, stronger wings. I wouldn't be surprised if Holiday got above the minimum this summer, but don't expect it to be much more.

Potential Teams: Nuggets, Nets, Rockets, 76ers, Pistons

Predicted Contract: 2-year, $6 million with the Nuggets

*Actual Contract: 1-year, $4.8 million with the Pacers.

Holiday was one of the last rotation-level free agents to sign a contract, as it appeared his salary demands exceeded his market value. However, Holiday was able to get a slight pay increase with the ability to hit the market again in 2020.
