Gortat had a rough contract year, even though he spent a portion of it starting for a competitive Clippers team. After being waived by the Clippers in February, Gortat did not end up signing with another team, despite being a classic example of a buyout candidate (although he techincally wasn't bought-out, just waived).

At age 35, Gortat has certainly lost a step, and doesn't have shooting ability or defensive genius to fall back on. I believe Gortat's screen-setting ability and history of pick-and-roll chemistry with John Wall could make him appealing to a team, so I don't expect Gortat to be out of the league just yet.

Potential Teams: Wizards, 76ers, Wizards, Bucks, Pistons

Predicted Contract: 1-year, $2.6 million ($1.6 million cap hit) with the Wizards

*Gortat has yet to sign an NBA contract
