Just over 4 years after starting for the USA FIBA World Cup team, Faried found himself at the end of the bench for a non-contender in Brooklyn before agreeing to a buyout and signing with the Rockets. Although bigs that can't stretch the floor or protect the rim are becoming practically extinct, Faried had a bit of a resurgence for Houston, using his motor and athleticism to be a pick-and-roll lob threat.

Faried still is not a great defender, be it in space or in the post, so it's difficult to play him at center, which his skillset practically demands. Faried will become a free agent for the first time in his career, and will likely be settling for a minimum contract.

Potential Teams: Rockets, Grizzlies, Pacers, Mavericks, Trailblazers

Predicted Contract: 1-year, $2.3 million ($1.6 million cap hit) with the Rockets

*Faried has yet to sign an NBA contract.
