Dekker has bounced around in the last two seasons, being traded three times in a span of 18 months.
Dekker has shown signs of an athletic wing that can score, but has not shot the ball well enough to earn consistent minutes, hitting just 28% of his threes in non-garbage time, per Cleaning the Glass. While he has finished well at the rim, Dekker will have to start hitting shots if he wants to stay in the NBA.
The Wizards will almost certainly choose not to tender Dekker a $3.9 million Qualifying Offer (if they do, he should accept it immediately, before they can rescind it), so Dekker will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Potential Teams: Wizards, Pelicans, 76ers, Rockets, Thunder
Predicted Contract: 1-year, $1.7 million ($1.6 million cap hit) with the Wizards
*Dekker signed overseas and will play in Europe this season.
