Everyone knows what Carter-Williams's weakness is: shooting. And it's not just outside shooting. The former rookie of the year struggles to shoot efficiently from anywhere on the court, and is one of the worst finishers at the rim despite having great size for his position.
In order to keep his NBA career alive, Carter-Williams will have to find some way to score at a reasonable rate, whether it's developing a midrange pull-up for defenses that drop back, or improving his finishing through contact at the rim.
Potential Teams: Magic, Timberwolves, Kings, Hawks
Predicted Contract: 1-year, $2 million (partially-guaranteed) with the Magic
*Actual Contract: 1-year, $2 million with the Magic.

Carter-Williams was able to contribute and got playoff minutes for the Magic last season, and was able to turn that into a guaranteed contract. However, Carter-Williams has shown he is a only minimum-level player due to his limitations offensively.
