Caldwell-Pope has been a difficult player to evaluate in the two seasons he has spent with the Lakers. After he showed real potential in Detroit, the Pistons decided KCP wasn't worth a long-term investment, so he instead signed two consecutive one-year contracts with the Lakers, earning just under $30 million in that span.

If the Lakers are able to bring in a star free agent this summer, Caldwell-Pope will be looking for a new home. Even if the Lakers strike out on the big names, they should probably look elsewhere with their cap space.

Potential Teams: Wizards, Hawks, Magic, Rockets, Thunder

Predicted Contract: 2-year, $15 million with the Wizards

Predicted Contract: 2-year, $16.6 million with the Lakers.

I was pretty accurate on my prediction for Caldwell-Pope. It's probably a slight overpay, but not enough to mock him the way many do when they say he gets overpaid for sharing an agent with Lebron James.
