In his prime, Calderon was a legitimately great shooter, and that skill has not completely gone away. Calderon and his agent will point to this shooting ability as a reason for teams to give him a spot as a third point guard.
However, Calderon's age has made him a liability on defense, and his ability to finish at the rim appears to have disappeared as well. This could be the end for Calderon's NBA career, as he will 38 in September.
