Beasley signing a 1-year, $4.5 million contract with the Lakers last summer was a huge surprise, not only because of the seemingly poor fit, but also because most of the league appeared to value him as a minimum-contract player at best.

 

Beasley was one of the many disappointing aspects of the Lakers' season, and was later traded to the Clippers, who waived him immediately. Don't be surprised if Beasley is unable to find an NBA team to call home next season.
