Barea would have been higher on this list if he hadn't torn his Achilles in January. Barea's injuries was a devastating blow to the Mavericks' bench that was having success early in the season.

Barea has had very good on/off numbers over the past three season, finishing in the 81st percentile or better each year, according to Cleaning the Glass. Barea is a saavy pick-and-roll player that can make shots at all levels and make plays for others.

At 35 years old and coming off a torn Achilles, teams will be very worried about signing Barea for anything beyond one year.

Potential Teams: Mavericks, Hornets, Suns, Pistons

Predicted Contract: Retires (or possible signs later in season)

If he signs in the summer/fall: 1-year, $2.6 million ($1.6 million cap hit) with the Mavericks

*Actual Contract: 1-year, $2.6 million ($1.6 million cap hit) with the Mavericks.

It was not surprising that Barea only signed for the minimum, especially considering his health concerns.
