In the span of three season, Anderson went from a major contributor on the West's #3 seed, to a solid regular-season contributor on the league's #1 seed, to an end-of-the-bench player on the worst team in the West.

As part of the trade to Phoenix, Anderson agreed to alter his $21.3 million salary in 2019-2020 from fully-guaranteed to $15.6 million guaranteed, a move that will certainly cost him a significant amount of money. Phoenix then traded him to Miami for Tyler Johnson, and will likely be waived by the Heat in order to save $5.7 million.

Anderson's spacing could still provide value to some teams, so he could get interest from multiple teams, especially teams with only the minimum to offer.
