The Trailblazers' weaknesses became revealed in the playoffs, which was highlighted by the lack of shooting ability from their starting forwards. Aminu might be more of a big than a wing, but I think it could go either way as his role really is a small-ball four that doesn't fit in great as a 3 or a 5.

Portland will be in a tough position with Aminu, as they will have no cap space to replace if he leaves. This certainly gives Aminu some leverage, but if Portland thinks he's easily replaceable, they'll choose to let him walk rather than add to their luxury tax bill.

Potential Teams: Trailblazers, Nets, Clippers, Lakers

Predicted Contract: 2-year, $20 million with the Trailblazers

*Actual Contract: 3-year, $29.2 million (3rd year player option) with the Magic.

This was very close to the annual value I expected for Aminu, and he was able to get a player option as well.
